August 14 is considered to be Golden Frog Day! In Panama it is a special day when there are many festivals are held in honor of the ecological symbol of Panama, frog.
The name Golden Frog is closely connected with the story that has happened with Ron and Carolyn Yokubaitis, the Co-CEOs of the company Golden Frog. In 1970 traveling through America they decided to stop in Panama where they visited one of the most popular bars of the time called the Golden Frog Coffee Bar. Time passed by and in 2008 they visited Panama again because of the conference. As for the bar, it didn’t exist anymore.
The company Golden Frog is collaborating with the Smithsonian’s Panama Amphibian Rescue and Conservation Project for supporting golden frogs that are supposed to be endangered animal species because of the disease.
The company’s aim is to raise $50,000. It’s necessary to find $8,750 for reaching the goal. Please, join to the campaign and save the golden frog in Panama donating now.
