What is the difference between VPN, Tor, and Socks?

Socks is another computer’s port supporting proxy technology that allows working through it. Socks can be inserted directly into a browser. If you surf websites through Socks those sites won’t see your IP. But Socks sees your IP and can record it. Tor passes your Internet traffic across multiple servers, which are encrypted with different keys, and none of these servers can see the whole chain. Tor is a highly protective method of defense but you should use it with VPN service to gain more security. To learn about VPN follow the link.
